The FCSO has sent ten members of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team to the Big Bend region of Florida where Hurricane Idalia hit head on. “Hurricane Idalia certainly left its mark on Northwest Florida, and we were fortunate to not have any major impacts in Flagler County,” Sheriff Staly added. “In prior hurricanes, other Sheriff’s Offices have helped us, so it is our turn to help our brothers and sisters in Suwannee County as much as possible. Palm Coast Male is arrested in less than an hour for shooting into a family member’s home Tuesday afternoon

In an area of the F section (Farnum Ln area) FCSO responded to a call about shots fired into a family residence January 10th around 4pm.  The residents of the home reported that they knew the shooter, and they were related to him and he fled the scene of the shooting in a Hyundai sedan. The family reported no injuries. FCS and the Real Time Crime Center responded to this incident; they were able to locate the vehicle in question in the L-section of Palm Coast. Deputies arrest man who fled through a farm field, crashed

On January 3rd, 2023, FCSO attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle that was in the area of County Road 304 and Old Haw Creek Rd. The vehicle sped away and left the road to drive through the farm fields along C.R. 304 to try and elude the FCSO. The vehicle drove back onto the road at speeds exceeding 100MPH. December 6, 2022 – Flagler County staff members are feeling the holiday spirit – they raised $4,500 for Christmas with Community Heroes, an organization that provides a Christmas shopping extravaganza for children who might not otherwise be so fortunate.
