At 4:45 am, a possible tornado touched down in the B Section in the area between Belle Terre and I-95. Residents in the Barrington Drive and surrounding areas have been reporting major damages. Weather officials are forecasting that Hurricane Lee will stay well offshore for the rest of the week as the storm passes to the east of Florida. January 25, 2023 – The Sheltering Tree will open a cold-weather shelter Friday and Saturday nights at the Church on the Rock not only for the homeless, but for anyone who is without heat. The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the high 30s during the overnight hours on Thursday, January 26, and Friday, January 27. November 10, 2022 – Several Flagler County Parks are closed until further notice because of flooding caused by Hurricane Nicole – Herschel King Park, Bings Landing, Moody Boat Ramp, Bull Creek Fish Camp, Russell Landing, Shell Bluff, and Princess Place Preserve. “This is all because of flooding,” said General Services Director Mike Dickson. “The floating docks are unusable.
