Boots and Bows Holds First Annual Fundraiser at Cattleman’s Hall

Saturday September 9th, 2023, the NLA Booster Club held their first annual fundraiser to help their student athletes cover the cost of training and competitions.  The NLA Booster Club is a Florida Domestic Non-profit based out of Ormond Beach. The event started at 3pm, and ran until 8pm. Food vendors, bounce houses and other vendors were also present to help support the students while serving the event attendees. The AARP Foundation Tax Aide is currently search and recruiting volunteers to join their team. They are looking for compassionate and friendly people who will be helping those in need. The Foundation will provide training and support  to help the volunteers learn all the necessary skills for the role. The program is looking for a number of different volunteers to help provide assistance to taxpayers. Volunteers range from college aged to retirees. Grace Food Pantry has come a long way since its inception in a garage serving maybe 30 families, to where it is now, on Education Way serving 4,700 families a month. Today, July 29th, 2023, Vincent's Clubhouse founder and president Erica Flores, her husband, and volunteers held their annual awards ceremony for their summer camp attendees. Children of all ages were presented with certificates and trophies for completing their summer camp classes. Vincent's Clubhouse Summer camp is a camp geared towards children with Autism and other special needs. This is the only summer camp in Flagler County for children with special needs and disabilities. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for portions of Northeast and Northern Florida and Southeast Georgia and will last from 10am today, to 9am this evening. This includes all of Flagler County. This heat index tells residents and visitors to expect incredibly high heat index values, up to 115. Not only will the heat index be extremely high, but the humidity is expected to be high as well. Today July 15th 2023, Maria L. Delgado with Culinary Wellness, a business designed to teach culinary classes to kids and family, Sponsored the first Children’s Business Fair of Palm Coast, at the Hammock Community Center in partnership with Acton Children’s Fair. Kid's filled the room with their tables where they sold their services, creations, and even baked goods. Palm Coast Man Arrested for Attempted Car Burglary Due to “See Something, Say Something”

The FCSO was able to arrest a man from Palm Coast who was attempting to break into cars in the F-Section on early Friday morning. Paul Krusher, 51, was caught by the FCSO in less than 30 minutes because a neighbor reported him for attempting to open car doors. A resident reported a person in the area of Forest Lane at 3:18am trying to enter cars. The resident provided the FCSO with video surveillance that showed the suspect in an orange shirt walking up the driveway and trying to open their car door. Deputies were able to spot the suspect…
