Arbor Day: 400 Trees Distributed and 926 lbs. of Food Donations Collected

 This past Saturday, the Arbor Day event drew hundreds of residents to come together and celebrate the 19th Annual Arbor Day event, recognizing the city's efforts in maintaining its designation as a Tree City USA and Monarch City. 400 trees and 500 butterflies were distributed, aiming to improve the environment and enhance the city's overall beauty. Residents lined up to encounter a native butterfly walk-thru exhibit filled with hundreds of butterfly species and plants. The City of Palm Coast Utility Department will be conducting infrastructure improvements on Florida Park Drive and surrounding areas. These enhancements are part of the department's ongoing commitment to improving services and ensuring the reliability of utility systems. The City of Palm Coast will be conducting a maintenance upgrade on the reclaimed water distribution system, which will require a complete shutdown of all reclaimed water services south of the Cigar Lake Pump Station, located at 4019 Royal Palms Parkway. The scheduled maintenance is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024.
