The City of Palm Coast hosted their annual Arbor Day event where people could bring canned goods and in return pick out a tree. The line for the trees started early, with people arriving prior to 9am. They had three trees and a bush to choose from. The Palm Coast Fire Department was there with their fire safety RV, you would go through and they would tell you about the different problems and they would ask you if you saw anything that was wrong. Keep Palm Coast Clean – It’s a Litter-ALL Effort: Event Day Impact

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, the City of Palm Coast Public Works Department hosted its sixth 'Keep Palm Coast Clean – It's a Litter-ALL Effort' community litter pick-up event. Early that morning, over 30 volunteers gathered at the Public Works Department to receive supplies and briefing instructions before setting out to collect trash from various roadways in Palm Coast. During the event, volunteers gathered over 45 bags of trash, totaling more than 600 pounds of debris. This figure included bulky miscellaneous items such as pool umbrella and table. Members of the National Care Foundation, a local non-profit providing assistance for sexual assault victims, hosted their third annual Denim Day walk at the European Village in Palm Coast. Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin was also present to show support and present a proclamation to the foundation. Founder Erica Rivera spoke about Denim Day, how it came to be, the National Care Foundation, and included a short testimonial from a survivor that the foundation helped last year.
