Flagler County Public Library holds ‘White Table Ceremony’ on Saturday – November 4 at 11 a.m.

The Flagler County Public Library Palm Coast Main Branch will hold a “White Table Ceremony” to honor service men and women who are Prisoners of War or Missing in Action. “The POW/MIA Honor Guard Detachment of 157 Air Force ROTC at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will perform the ceremony,” said Library Director Holly Albanese. “Refreshments will follow, provided by the Friends of the Library.” The ceremony, rich in military tradition, will be presented at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 4. Motto Mortgage is announcing their first annual Gold Classic Fundraiser, "Swing Against Hunger" which will help raise funds to battle against food insecurity in Flagler County. The tournament will be held at Grand Haven Golf Club, 500 Riverfront Dr. Palm Coast, on October 23rd at 12pm. This morning, Sunday September 24th, at 9am, Live Like Cameron held their 6th annual Warriors 5k. This 5k helps raise funds for the organization. Live Like Cameron is a local non-profit that helps Flagler County families who have children fighting cancer. Before the run started, there was a brief opening ceremony. The ceremony started off with the FPC band and cheerleaders, who were there to support the local families and the cause.
