Last night, the City of Palm Coast hosted the third annual MedNexus Innovation Challenge at the Palm Coast Community Center. The event focused on addressing social media addiction among young people and featured competitive presentations from four local teams. Each team, comprising students from area schools, presented innovative solutions to modify behaviors associated with excessive social media use. The projects ranged from applications that manage screen time to programs that encourage positive offline activities. Zoee has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. When she first found out she had cancer she was 14 years old. She has had cancer for 8 months and is still fighting at age 15. After she has her treatments she feels tired and nauseous and sometimes just normal. The City of Palm Coast’s Traffic & Engineering division wishes to inform residents about the High-Performance Micro Surfacing project scheduled for several roadways in Palm Coast. Installation is set to begin on Monday, April 22, 2024, and will continue through Thursday, May 9, 2024. Project Contractor, Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc., will be applying high-performance micro surfacing on the roadways.
