The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners, the City of Bunnell, and the City of Palm Coast invite residents to gather for a blended Veterans’ Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 11, at the historic Coquina City Hall in Bunnell. Tropical storm Nicole threw a wrench into many weekend plans for veterans day. The celebrate America event was no exception. This event was scheduled to happen on November 12th, but do to the storm and flooding, it was moved to today, November 19th. The event was well received with vendors, food trucks, and a dining area set up. The kids had a kid zone, which included a few bounce houses. Flagler County Library and Embry Riddle's ROTC hosted a White table ceremony today to honor and remember members of all five military branches who are and were missing in action or prisoners of war. The emotional ceremony started off with a detailed explanation of all of the table ware, down to the table cloth and what each small and intricate piece means.
