Beach Restoration Project Continues Forward After Flagler County BOCC Votes to Approve

The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) held their 9am meeting, December 4th, 2023. Chairman Andy Dance kicked off the meeting by announcing the dates in December that County Offices will be closed; December 25th, 26th and 29th in observance of Christmas and New Year's. Lori Vetter Bowers was recognized at the beginning of the meeting for having her photograph of Flagler County's portion of the Intracoastal Waterway selected to be in the Florida Association of Counties Calendar. Board of County Commissioners Morning Meeting

This morning, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for Flagler County held their morning meeting at 9am, Monday November 6th, 2023. The meeting was short, to the point and uneventful. The meeting started with board members issuing proclamations declaring this month as National Diabetes Awareness Month, and 'No Shave November' to bring awareness to men's health specifically with prostate and testicular cancer. Following the proclamations, the BOCC heard a general presentation on FDOT's work program for the upcoming year. December 13, 2022 – The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners have selected committee assignments for the 2022-23 fiscal year and are prepared to get to work. Committee assignments to these important boards provide Flagler County commissioners with community input, expertise, and diverse viewpoints that help the Board of County Commissioners make informed decisions.
