Today, August 2nd, 2023, the second AdventHealth Hospital on Palm Coast Parkway opened to the public and began to see patients. This new hospital is 158,000 sq.ft. has 100 beds which doubles the inpatient capacity in Flagler County and nearly doubles the emergency department services in the area.

There is a 30,000 sq. ft.  medical office building that opened on June 12, near the AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway facility which offers a range of special services.

“As a long-time Flagler County resident myself, I am personally thrilled to see this new hospital open,” said Wally De Aquino, president/CEO for AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway and an area resident since 2005. “Construction began in September 2021, but the planning and preparation were years in the making. Flagler County – and Palm Coast in particular – has experienced significant growth in recent years, and to help keep our community healthy, it is important that our health care infrastructure continues to expand and grow too.”

Flagler County is the third fastest growing county in the state, according to U.S. Census Bureau data; and Palm Coast is the largest city in Flagler, Volusia, St. John’s and Putnam counties.

AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is the result of a $167 million dollar investment and brings 300-500 new jobs to the area along with the 1,100 current employees at the Palm Coast location on SR-100. The building architect was HuntonBrady, while the building was constructed by Robins & Morton.
