The City of Palm Coast is excited to invite residents to celebrate National Tennis Month through our complimentary “Welcome to Tennis” program at the Southern Recreation Center. Additionally, you can play tennis for free at Belle Terre Park, Seminole Woods Neighborhood Park, and James F. Holland Memorial Park.

In honor of Mother’s Day, the City will also host the “Toast-To-You Mother’s Day Round Robin” for adults 21 and over. This event will take place on May 18th at 9 AM at the Southern Recreation Center, located at 1290 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164. The entry fee is $15 per person, which includes a beverage ticket.

During National Tennis Month, we’re excited to provide Welcome to Tennis sessions and a special Mother’s Day event. These activities are perfect for beginners, experienced players, or those returning to tennis, offering a fun way to get active and enjoy tennis in a supportive community. Our goal is to make tennis accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Each week, our certified professional coaches offer 60-minute clinics on tennis fundamentals at the Southern Recreation Center. Participants also receive guidance from our tennis mentors on rules, scoring, etiquette, and more.

The “Welcome to Tennis” sessions take place every Saturday at 10 AM and 11 AM, and on Mondays at 11 AM, for individuals aged 15 and older. We provide loaner racquets free of charge to ensure a great start for all participants.

Residents are also encouraged to use the free tennis courts at Belle Terre Park, Seminole Woods Neighborhood Park, and James F. Holland Memorial Park whenever they like to practice their skills.
