The City of Palm Coast hosted their annual Arbor Day event where people could bring canned goods and in return pick out a tree. The line for the trees started early, with people arriving prior to 9am. They had three trees and a bush to choose from.

The Palm Coast Fire Department was there with their fire safety RV, you would go through and they would tell you about the different problems and they would ask you if you saw anything that was wrong. There was free face painting, along with other vendors too.

They had a reptile vendor who had many different snakes to see, you were allowed to look at the snakes but they will not take them out of the safety cage. As always they had the butterfly tent too. They had at least eight different kinds of native butterflies that they later released at 11am.

If you did not get to go this year, mark your calendar for next May and check out the event.
