Thursday, January 12th, Sheriff Staly met with three children from three different schools in Flagler County to present these young people with their Great Kid Award.

The Great Kid Award is a monthly award that the Sheriff presents to one elementary, one middle school, and one high school student. These awards are given to kids who show respect, work hard academically, and represent themselves and their school well.  School Resource Deputies and employees of the school nominate the kids they think should receive this award.

Luca Frohlich from Rymfire Elementary is January’s Great Kid. He is a respectful, hard working and dependable student. The RES family is proud and lucky to have him.

Vlada Souksov from Indian Trails Middle School is January’s Great Kid. She always has a positive attitude, is a role model to her peers, is resepctful and resposinble,  and is an enthusiastic student who leads by example. ITMS is proud to call her family and recognizes her outstanding qualities.

Isabel “Isa” Doshier, from Matanzas High School is January’s Great Kid. She is a committed and dedicated TA, works in the Dean’s office, always has a positive attitude, and is a great role model to her peers, leading by example. MHS family is proud to call her family, and is lucky to have such an outstanding and hardworking young lady.
