Residents had the opportunity to ask all three candidates in attendance, Mike Norris, Alan Lowe, and Peter Johnson, their questions, which included development, impact fees, code enforcement, infrastructure and more.

While the three candidates shared similar sentiments on a large variety of of topics, they all differed in their approach.

The owner of Sunbro’s Cafe in Flagler Beach hosted the event, allowing residents to get to know the candidates running for office.  This is the second meet the candidate event that the owner of Sunbro’s Cafe, Travis, hosted. The first hosting the Flagler County Commission candidates. Travis plans to hold another Meet the Candidate Event on May 2nd, at 5:30, with candidates running for school board, county commission and city council.

The debate remained civil with residents and candidates alike asking and answering questions with civility and respect to each other.  While many residents and even the candidates disagreed, the event held an air of civil respect and honest debate.

You can find out more about each of these candidates by going to their respective websites.  We will be conducting video interviews with as many of the candidates running for local office as possible. If you have a question you would like us to ask one of these candidates during our upcoming video interviews, email them to us at: editor@flaglercountybuzz.com.
