The City of Palm Coast is getting ready for the return of an annual event this September, the 2023 Senior Games. The event is open to participants ages 50 and up.
The Palm Coast Senior Games will include past events such as mainstay events golf, pickleball and tennis. A number of new events include billiards, bowling, horseshoes, shuffleboard, bocce, basketball free throw, bag toss, darts, surfing and a 5K road race competition.
“It goes without saying that the Senior Games is something that our Parks and Recreation staff look forward to just as much as our participants each year,” said James Hirst, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palm Coast. “Having the ability to bring these new events into the fold this year means that more of our residents will be able to get involved, bring out their competitive spirit and see what makes this event truly special.”
