Shell Bluff Boat Ramp To Close 1 Week For Repairs Beginning December 4

Flagler County will be closing the Shell Bluff Boat Ramp, located at the terminus of County Road 67 and Cresent Lake, for repairs beginning on Monday, December 4. “The closure will begin at 5 a.m. on Monday for repairs that are expected to take one week,” said General Services Director Mike Dickson. “We anticipate reopening the boat ramp by 7 a.m. Monday, December 11.” The official address of Shell Bluff Park is 14331 W. State Road 100. “We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate everyone’s patience while we complete this work,” Dickson said. On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) captured a Palm Coast man with an outstanding warrant for two counts of Aggravated Assault. Around 10:40pm, Master Deputy Rainey conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota sedan. The vehicle was operated by Stephen Charles Voorhees Jr., 31. Voorhees was found to have an active warrant for two counts of Aggravated Assault from Seminole County, FL. Voorhees was arrested for his out-of-county warrant and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. On Wednesday, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) captured a Daytona Beach man with three outstanding warrants traveling south on I-95. Around 6 am, Deputy Perkins conducted a traffic stop on a gray sedan after it completed an illegal U-turn in the emergency median near mile marker 286. The vehicle was operated by Willy Montfort, 42, whose Florida driver’s license has been suspended 18 times since January 2020 for delinquent child support payments.
