Enforcement efforts are being coordinated by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Flagler Beach Police Department (FBPD), and the Bunnell Police Department (BPD) to focus on speeding, distracted driving, and violations at intersections. To achieve the goal of reducing crashes in Flagler County, high visibility, education, and strict enforcement will be essential. This once-monthly operation aims to increase the safety of all Flagler County motorists.
“We hope this initiative will help to reduce crashes in Flagler County. Please be mindful of your speed and remember not to text and drive,” said Sheriff Rick Staly.
Thursday, February 9, 2023, will be Operation Wreck-LESS’s first day. At the beginning of each month, the remaining monthly Operation Wreck-LESS days will be held.
