Women United Flagler will hold its 17th Annual Power of the Purse: Garden of Giving Soirée on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Hammock Dunes Club in Palm Coast. The annual event is a fundraising luncheon that brings together community members and supporters to raise money for programs that help individuals and families across Flagler County.
About Women United Flagler
Women United Flagler is an affinity group of the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties. The group is focused on creating local impact through philanthropy and volunteerism. Since its founding, the annual Power of the Purse luncheon has served as the group’s signature fundraising event, now entering its 17th year.
Where the Money Goes
Proceeds from the event support Flagler County community initiatives through two channels. The first is the United Way’s four core pillars: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Community, and Community Resiliency. The second is the Flagler Fund, which directs resources specifically to local programs addressing critical needs in the Flagler County community.
