Flagler County is pulling out all the stops for America’s 250th birthday. The City of Palm Coast, Flagler County Government, Flagler Beach, and Bunnell are joining forces for the 2026 United Flagler Fourth Community Celebration — a two-day, multi-city event on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026. All events are free to attend.
Friday, July 3 — First Friday in Flagler Beach
The weekend opens with First Friday at Veterans Park in downtown Flagler Beach, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3.
Saturday, July 4 — Parade, Fireworks, and More
The Stars and Stripes Parade, presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach, steps off at 9:00 a.m. and follows its traditional route along A1A in Flagler Beach, traveling from 6th Street North to 6th Street South.
The day’s main event, Fireworks Over the Runways, takes place at Flagler Executive Airport, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. The family-friendly evening will feature food trucks, vendors, a beer garden, children’s activities, and live entertainment on the main stage.
At 6:30 p.m., following a performance of the National Anthem, local dignitaries and elected officials will deliver a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
At 7:00 p.m., the first-ever United Flagler Fourth Hot Dog Eating Competition — presented by Hot Diggity Dogs & Shakes — will pit local leaders and community personalities against each other for the title of “Top Dog.”
From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, historic military aircraft will take part in a warbird aerial showcase — a first for the United Flagler Fourth event. The aircraft will fly over the airport in a high-energy display before the fireworks finale.
The fireworks display begins at 9:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
Parking and Entry Information
All guests attending Fireworks Over the Runways must enter through Fin Way off South Belle Terre Boulevard — the only entrance to the event. Accessible parking spaces are also located at this entrance on the south side of the airport.
Airport Road and Bulldog Drive will be closed to traffic at 5:00 p.m. Parking along South Belle Terre Boulevard is strictly prohibited. There will be no access to the front of the airport, and no parking is available at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Coast Public Works, and Flagler County Assist volunteers will manage traffic control, pedestrian crossings, and parking throughout the evening.
Important Reminders
Admission, parking, and participation in all United Flagler Fourth events are free of charge. Glass containers are not permitted. The airport will remain operational throughout the day but will close temporarily during the fireworks display.
