A 21-year-old woman was killed after her car hit a tree, causing the vehicle to become engulfed in flames shortly after midnight on October 16.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred 1.5 miles north of Town Center Avenue on Old Kings Road. The car crossed the northbound lane, striking a tree, before catching fire.
There is an ongoing investigation into what caused the crash.
