On Saturday, June 1 from 3-6 pm, Yes Coffee Co. hosted a fundraising event for the family of Dallas Gibson.
Dallas Gibson is 7 years old and was born with a rare condition called Gastroschisis. Since his birth he has had 8 surgeries. The community is rallying together to show the Gibsons some support and also to. have a day for Dallas to see everyone supporting him.
The Mario themed event included a Mario Cart ‘Relay Race, Bounce Houses, Silent Auction, Coffee & More. Dallas’ wish was to pie the Flagler Beach Police Chief in the face at his party and his wish was granted.
On May 31st, Dallas’ mom shared the following update:
“We have worked with 3 different hospital systems, Nemours, Shans, and Arnold Palmer. We have worked with countless departments, Gastrology, Dietary, Urology, Neurology, Immunology, and Hematology. We are still searching for a diagnosis…Just fight a little longer my son.”
