January 10th, 2023, FCSO responded to a call at a Palm Coast business about a shoplifting in progress. The business stated that a blonde female bypassed all the points of sale and ran from the loss prevention staff when confronted about not paying for her items. The business also made a report about the vehicle used by the suspect.

The suspect stole merchandise valued over $1,100. FCSO located a vehicle matching the description given by the business, at US1 and SR100W. FCSO stopped the vehicle for a traffic stop and identified the suspect as Tracy Curley. Curley is from Edgewater and admitted to deputies that she stole the merchandise and planned on selling it online.

It was later discovered that Curley is wanted in both Broward and Orange County for Grand Theft charges. She was arrested and charged by FCSO for shoplifting – Grand Theft ($750-5,000) and the out-of-county- warrants. She was later released after posting a $7,000 bond.

She has a long history throughout the State of Florida for theft.
