The Junior Chamber of Commerce, started by a Flagler Palm Coast High School student, is giving middle schoolers through college students a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement careers this June — for free.
The Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCC), an education foundation focused on preparing students for careers and adult life, has announced a free Law Enforcement Day event set for Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. The event is open to students from middle school through college and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
How the JCC started

The JCC was founded by Bryan Soudrain, who began working in community leadership at age 16 while attending Flagler Palm Coast High School. His goal was to build a path for students to gain hands-on experience, meet working professionals, and explore possible careers before graduating. The organization now serves students not just locally but nationwide and internationally.
What JCC does and how JCC Connect works
The JCC’s mission centers on giving students real-world skills and experience that go beyond what is taught in a typical classroom. One of its main programs is JCC Connect, a free online platform where students can explore different industries, find mentors, build their resumes, and access internship and job opportunities. The platform is built around partnerships with schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations, and is open to students from middle school through college as well as companies or groups interested in getting involved.
Throughout the year, JCC also organizes career fairs, health fairs, professional panels, webinars with industry leaders, and hands-on workshops — all aimed at exposing students to different fields and helping them build practical skills and confidence. Students and organizations can join JCC Connect at juniorchamberflorida.com/connect.
Law Enforcement Day — June 5, 2026

The upcoming Law Enforcement Day will give students a direct look at careers in law enforcement through live demonstrations and professional access. Attendees can expect to see SWAT and K-9 demonstrations, learn about CSI and courtroom processes, meet law enforcement professionals, and hear about career pathways in the field. The event is completely free to attend.
