Flagler County administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Offices will also close on Wednesday, January 1, and Thursday, January 2, for the New Year’s holiday. Several county services will operate on revised schedules during the holiday period.
The Flagler County Public Library system will close early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, and remain closed all day on December 25 and 26. Both the Palm Coast Library and Bunnell Library at Nexus will resume normal hours that weekend. The libraries will also close on January 1 and 2, with normal weekend hours following the New Year’s closure.
Flagler County Public Transportation will be closed completely on December 25 and January 1. On December 26 and January 2, transportation services will operate on a limited basis, providing rides only for dialysis clients.
Residents in unincorporated areas of the county who normally have solid waste pickup on Thursdays will see their service rescheduled. Those with Christmas Day pickup will instead receive service on Saturday, December 27, and those with New Year’s Day pickup will have service on Saturday, January 3. The Hazardous Waste site will close early at noon on Tuesday, December 22, and will also be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
