The City of Flagler Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is proud to join communities across the state to celebrate Florida Redevelopment Week, September 14–18, 2026, recognizing the powerful role community redevelopment plays in revitalizing the downtown, strengthening the commercial district, attracting investment, supporting local businesses and residents, and building vibrant resilient communities for generations to come.

Florida Redevelopment Week is a statewide initiative led by the Florida Redevelopment Association to highlight how Community Redevelopment Agencies (CRAs) and redevelopment programs strengthen communities through infrastructure improvements, downtown revitalization, strategic public investment, economic development, and partnerships with local businesses and residents. “Florida Redevelopment Week is an opportunity to celebrate the important role the CRA plays in revitalizing the heart of our city and creating a vibrant future for Flagler Beach. Through thoughtful investment and strong community partnerships, we can preserve what makes Flagler Beach special while creating new opportunities for our community to thrive. Together, let’s keep shining and investing in the people, places, and businesses that make Flagler Beach shine.” — Casey Ryan, CRA Director

Community redevelopment efforts improve public spaces, support local businesses, help attract private investment, and create vibrant places where residents and visitors can live, work, and thrive.
