Flagler County Health and Human Services offices will be closed Today, Friday, December 5, 2025, as staff complete the department’s move from its Belle Terre Boulevard location to the new Nexus Center.
The closure affects several programs, including Senior Services, Housing Services, Human Services, and the Congregate Meals site. All of these services will be unavailable today during the relocation.
Joseph Hegedus, Director of Health and Human Services, said the department expects to resume operations at the new location early next week. “We anticipate reopening to accommodate these services on Monday (December 8),” Hegedus said. “We will likely still be unpacking and settling in, but we should still be able to attend to business.”
One program will not be affected by the move. The Adult Day Care program will remain at its current location, the David I. Siegel Adult Day Care Center, at 1000 Belle Terre Boulevard.
Residents who need assistance from Health and Human Services should plan accordingly and return on Monday when the offices reopen at the Nexus Center.
