Flagler County Land Management will be supporting an International Coastal Cleanup event being held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday (September 16) at the River-to-Sea Preserve in the Town of Marineland and encourages the community to support the effort. The Flagler Sheriff's Office served two narcotics related warrants on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 for a house at 25 Wood Ash Lane in Palm Coast and 500 N. Central Ave. in Flagler Beach, simultaneously. These warrants were the result of undercover operations conducted by the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). A search of the 25 Wood Ash Lane home, led deputies to seize methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia. July 13, 2023 – As efforts continue on the first segment of the FEMA emergency dune project, Jungle Hut Park is being added as a simultaneous beach access point on July 17 (Monday) for the contractor, limiting access at that park for about two weeks. Today, Flagler Beach Mayor Suzette Johnson and 7-11 owner, Eric Cooley, hosted the 2nd annual Hang 8 Dog Surfing Extravaganza. The event started off with vendors setting up along the beach while dogs and their human counterparts prepared for the competitions.
