The public is invited to attend a Flagler County School Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Flagler County Courthouse Vault Room, located at 200 E. Moody Boulevard in Bunnell.
The forum is being hosted by the American Association of University Women Flagler chapter, known as AAUW, with guidance from the League of Women Voters. Both organizations are nonpartisan and do not support any political party or candidate. The event is designed to give voters a chance to hear directly from school board candidates on issues that matter to the community ahead of the primary election scheduled for August 18, 2026.
The format will give each candidate two minutes to deliver opening remarks. A moderator will then ask questions prepared by AAUW and the League of Women Voters, as well as written questions submitted by the audience. Each candidate will have two minutes to respond to every question.
Seating is limited to 50 participants, so registration is required. Those interested in attending can register by emailing aauwflagler1984@gmail.com. The AAUW is also encouraging members of the local media to attend to help inform voters before the August primary.
