The City of Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for its 2026 summer camp programs, offering children and teens a range of options from sports instruction and outdoor adventure to hands-on firefighter training. Spots are limited and many programs fill quickly, so the city is encouraging families to register early at parksandrec.fun.
Parks and Recreation Director James Hirst highlighted the variety available this summer. “Summer is a time for kids to explore new interests, build confidence, and create lasting memories,” Hirst said. “We’re proud to offer a lineup of camps that not only keep kids active, but also provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for families across Palm Coast.”
Firefighter Kids Camp
Children ages 7 through 12 can experience life as a junior firefighter at Fire Station 25 through the Firefighter Kids Camp. Campers will use real fire equipment and learn firefighting techniques, CPR and first aid basics, fire safety education, and how to properly operate a fire extinguisher. Two age-specific sessions are available: ages 7 to 9 from June 1 through 5, and ages 10 to 12 from June 8 through 12, both running from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Each session costs $60.
Teen Adventure Camp
Students who have completed grades 6 through 8 can sign up for the Teen Adventure Camp, a full week of field trips and activities designed to get participants out of the house and into new experiences. Two sessions are offered: June 22 through 26 and July 13 through 17, both running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each session costs $175.
Basketball Camp
Also open to students completing grades 6 through 8, the Basketball Camp at Buddy Taylor Middle School focuses on building fundamental skills, confidence, and teamwork. Two sessions are available: July 6 through 10 and July 20 through 24, both from 9 a.m. to noon. Each session costs $75.
Golf Summer Camp
At Palm Harbor Golf Course, the Golf Summer Camp provides instruction from LPGA Class A Professional Donna Serino. Pickleball Youth Camp
The Southern Recreation Center will host a Pickleball Youth Camp for participants ages 8 through 17, offering instruction in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. The camp includes drills, games, and skill-building activities. Two sessions are available: June 15 through 19 and July 20 through 24, both from 9 a.m. to noon. Each session costs $125.
