Residents seeking assistance with their tax returns can schedule free appointments starting January 15, with tax preparation services beginning February 1.

The free tax preparation program offers IRS-certified preparers at six locations throughout Flagler County. All preparers are trained and certified by the Internal Revenue Service and can handle the most common tax returns for people of all age groups.

Appointments can be scheduled online at taxprepfree.net. Those unable to schedule online may call 386-313-4048.

Services are available at multiple locations on different days of the week. The Palm Coast Aquatic Center at 339 Parkview Drive offers appointments on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Government Service Building at 1769 East Moody Boulevard in Bunnell provides services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Flagler Beach United Methodist Church at 1520 South Daytona Avenue hosts appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Additional locations include the Flagler County Public Library at 2500 Palm Coast Parkway Northwest, which offers services on Thursdays. Palm Coast United Methodist Church at 6500 Belle Terre Parkway provides appointments on Mondays. Bridges, A United Methodist Fellowship, located at 205 North Pine Street in Bunnell, offers services on Saturdays.

Residents attending appointments should bring all tax documents and a copy of last year’s tax return.
