On June 5, detectives from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Problem Area Crime Enforcement Unit arrested three Palm Coast juveniles, Jordan Brumley, 15, Christian Henderson, 15, and Chandler Hubbard, 15, for a string of car burglaries that occurred in the F section of Palm Coast.

FCSO’s P.A.C.E. Unit began investigating after receiving multiple reports of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of June 5. Through investigative means, detectives were able to locate the teenagers at a home on Fenimore Lane in Palm Coast.

During the investigation, detectives determined that Brumley, Henderson, and Hubbard had left a sleepover with the intent to commit vehicle burglaries. At the time of their arrests, the teenagers had several stolen items in their possession including a loaded handgun, ammunition, marijuana, multiple prescription pills, a Louis Vuitton handbag, Apple Airpods, two IDs, and multiple pairs of sunglasses.

Detectives arrested Brumley on seven counts of Burglary of a Conveyance, two counts of Petit Theft, Grand Theft of Firearm from a Motor Vehicle, three counts of Grand Theft of a Control Substance from a Motor Vehicle, Trafficking a Control Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Henderson was arrested for six counts of Burglary of a Conveyance, three counts of Petit Theft, Grand Theft of Firearm from a Motor Vehicle, three counts of Grand Theft of a Control Substance from a Motor Vehicle, Trafficking a Control Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility for processing.

Detectives also arrested Hubbard for six counts of Burglary of a Conveyance, two counts of Petit Theft, Grand Theft of Firearm from a Motor Vehicle, three counts of Grand Theft of a Control Substance from a Motor Vehicle, Trafficking a Control Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility for processing.

All juveniles were transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility for processing. The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice directed the three teenagers to be released to their parents.

In an unrelated investigation, Kaleb Reynolds, 17, of Flemming Island, was arrested on June 5^th for a series of vehicle burglaries committed in Palm Coast in April of this year.

Detectives from the FCSO General; Assignment Unit began investigating after deputies received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins. Through investigative means, detectives were able to identify and link Reynolds to the burglaries in Palm Coast. They also linked Reynolds to burglaries in Volusia County and Clay County.

On June 3, the FCSO detectives obtained three orders to take Reynolds into custody. On June 5, a detective from FCSO and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Reynolds on two counts of Armed Burglary of a Conveyance, Grand Theft of a Firearm from a Motor Vehicle, four counts of Burglary, three counts of Petty Theft, and Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance. He was transported to the Duval Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

Great work by our team and partner agencies for quickly solving these cases and getting them off the streets. Parents need to be the sheriffs in their homes and teach their kids that breaking into cars and stealing is illegal and has real consequences, as these teenagers found out the hard way. They are now facing a host of felonies. Parents talk to their children about the consequences of their actions, or we will when we arrest them. Also, remember to lock your cars and never leave keys or valuables, especially guns, visible or unsecured in your cars.”
