“Our deputies, detectives, and RTCC analysts continue to work tirelessly to track down those who think they can victimize our community,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Whether it’s local teens breaking into cars or suspects crossing county lines to commit crimes, we will identify you, arrest you, and hold you accountable. Great work by our team and partner agencies for quickly solving these cases and getting them off the streets. Parents need to be the sheriffs in their homes and teach their kids that breaking into cars and stealing is illegal and has real consequences, as these teenagers found out the hard way. They are now facing a host of felonies. Parents talk to their children about the consequences of their actions, or we will when we arrest them. Also, remember to lock your cars and never leave keys or valuables, especially guns, visible or unsecured in your cars.”
