The City of Palm Coast hosted a Florida State Golf Association Juniors Tournament at Palm Harbor Golf Club on January 24-25, 2026, bringing 74 junior golfers and their families from across Florida and beyond to the area for a weekend of competition.

The tournament featured players ages 9 through 12 competing on Palm Harbor’s challenging course, which is known for its tight fairways. The event provided economic benefits to the community by filling local hotels and supporting restaurants and retailers.

“We’re proud to welcome young athletes and their families to Palm Coast and grateful for the positive impact these events have on our local economy and community,” said Dennis Redican, Outdoor Recreation Manager for the City of Palm Coast. “Palm Harbor Golf Club proved to be the perfect course to showcase the incredible talent that these young athletes displayed.”

The tournament emphasized sportsmanship and skill development while also providing visitors an opportunity to explore Palm Coast’s parks, trails, and local businesses.

Four golfers won their respective divisions during the two-day competition. Jayden Wei won the Boys 11-12 division, Lucas Li won the Boys 9-10 division, Chloe Audrey Chen won the Girls 11-12 division, and Jocelynn Ayala won the Girls 9-10 division.

The city thanked tournament organizers, Palm Harbor Golf Club staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the event a success.

The Florida State Golf Association Juniors Tournament will return to Palm Harbor Golf Club on March 21-22, 2026, for golfers ages 13 through 15.
