Organization introduces new monthly events focused on networking, education, and personal growth

Professional Women of Flagler County has announced changes to its monthly programming for the new year, offering local professionals expanded opportunities to connect with peers and develop new skills.

The organization has restructured its regular events to address what it describes as a whole-person approach to professional success, encompassing career development, personal growth, and physical well-being.

The group’s former Business for Breakfast gathering has been replaced with a free monthly networking luncheon called Leadership & Lunch. The event takes place on the first Friday of each month at Romero’s Tuscany by the Sea. There is no cost to attend, though participants are responsible for purchasing their own meals.

Business After Hours has also been transformed into Workshop Wednesdays, scheduled for the third Wednesday of every month. Each session features a guest speaker who provides educational content and practical tools designed to help attendees succeed in their professional and personal lives.

The first quarter of 2026 will feature four speakers covering a range of topics. Wilson Kowaleski will present “Nothing Changes Until You Do” on January 21. Lacy Martin will discuss marketing strategies on February 18 with a talk titled “Having the Right Tools in Your Marketing Toolbox.” Ray Shashaty will lead a session on self-defense and pepper spray techniques on March 18. Andrea Gulliksen will close out the quarter on April 15 with a presentation called “Building Retirement on Your Own Terms.”

The organization has also announced its signature annual fundraiser, the PWFC Tea Party, scheduled for May 13, 2026. Proceeds from the event support the Go Girl Grant program, which provides financial assistance to women-owned businesses in the local area to help them expand operations and serve their communities.
