Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies stayed busy over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, making 24 arrests between 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and 6 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025. Eight of those arrests occurred on Thanksgiving Day itself. With increased patrols during the holiday period, deputies responded to 1,408 calls for service and conducted 481 traffic stops.
Woman Faces Multiple Charges After DUI Arrest
Just before midnight on Friday, deputies conducting patrols near Florida Park Drive in Palm Coast initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions. The driver was traveling in the wrong direction and failed to yield or come to a complete stop when turning around. After deputies activated their lights, the vehicle ran through a red light on Palm Coast Parkway before eventually stopping in the intersection.
Deputies identified the driver as Kaylie Poe, 27, of Orlando. Two passengers were also in the vehicle, including a two-year-old child. During the stop, deputies observed that Poe had slurred speech, watery and bloodshot eyes, and difficulty paying attention. When asked to exit the vehicle, she had trouble maintaining her balance.
Deputies conducted field sobriety exercises, which Poe failed, and placed her under arrest. At the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, breath tests showed no alcohol in her system. Because the test results did not match the level of impairment deputies had observed, they requested a urine sample, which Poe refused.

During the booking process, detention deputies discovered additional evidence. They located numerous Xanax pills in Poe’s sock and found more pills wrapped in clear plastic concealed inside her genital area. A review of the patrol vehicle’s backseat camera showed Poe removing an item from the padding of her bra and placing it into her genital area during transport.
Poe was charged with DUI with a person under 18 years of age in the vehicle, refusal to submit to testing, introduction of contraband into a correctional facility, possession of alprazolam, and tampering with physical evidence.
“First, this woman did something incredibly dangerous and stupid by driving under the influence of drugs with a young toddler in the car,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Then, on her way to jail, she thought she would not get caught with Xanax trying to hide it in body cavities, but she got caught and now faces additional felony charges.”
Poe was booked into the detention facility and later released on a $9,000 bond. Body camera footage from the arrest is available for viewing through the Sheriff’s Office.
Man Arrested After Bowling Alley Fight and Altercation with Deputies
Just before midnight on Saturday, deputies responded to Palm Coast Lanes after a 911 caller reported an assault and battery in progress. The caller stated that two men were involved in a physical altercation outside the bowling alley, during which one man punched the other.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim, who appeared to have significant injuries, and the suspect, identified as Zeenen Cobb, 41, of Palm Coast. When asked what had happened, Cobb stated that nothing had occurred and that the men had made peace.
As deputies continued speaking with Cobb, he refused to provide identification and became argumentative. When a deputy attempted to secure him, Cobb resisted by pulling away and then attempted to strike the deputy. He subsequently tripped, grabbed the deputy, and pulled him to the ground. Other deputies quickly responded and placed Cobb in handcuffs.
While on the ground, Cobb yelled profanities and threats at deputies, telling one officer, “All you gotta do is touch your gun, and you’ll get shot in your f—— face… touch your f—— gun, I bet I’ll kill your ass.”

The investigation revealed that the altercation began after Cobb asked the victim for a cigarette. While they were speaking, Cobb struck the victim twice in the face without provocation, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. When another man attempted to help the victim, Cobb began pushing him and tried to punch him as well. That man then ran to get help.
Cobb was charged with battery, aggravated battery causing bodily harm, resisting an officer with violence, assault on a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer, threatening a first responder with physical harm, and breach of peace. He is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $68,000 bond.
“This guy got into a fight, knocking someone unconscious and causing serious injury, then wanted to fight with deputies instead of cooperating with their investigation,” said Sheriff Staly. “If you attack a Deputy Sheriff, it is a guaranteed trip to the Green Roof Inn with multiple felonies.”
The victim was transported to AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway for medical treatment due to the extent of his injuries. He is expected to recover. Body camera footage from Cobb’s arrest is also available for viewing through the Sheriff’s Office.
