The 14th Annual City of Palm Coast Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Central Park in Town Center on Saturday, November 29, at 6:00 p.m., marking the official start of the holiday season.
The community tradition will feature a visit from Santa Claus, appearances by Palm Coast City Council members, and the launch of the Rotary Club of Flagler County’s 20th Anniversary Fantasy Lights display. The display will showcase lights and holiday scenes throughout the park.
Families attending the event can enjoy food trucks, photos with Santa, children’s crafts, and Santa’s Village, which will include hot cocoa and marshmallow toasting. Eighteen food trucks will be on-site for the evening, offering a variety of options including Cool Beans Barbeque, Crazy Good Eats, The Happy Lemon Co., DJ Concessions, Dex N Angie, Sweet Treat Creations, Southern Sips, TABS, SoulKitchen, Wandering Hoagie, Taco Land, Wasabi, Wicked Good Mini Donuts, Chicken Slayer, Mango Mike, Sweet Melissa’s, Kona Ice, and Down Home Goodies.
The tree lighting ceremony represents the first of several holiday events scheduled throughout the season. The Starlight Parade in Town Center will take place on December 6, followed by the Holiday Boat Parade along the Intracoastal Waterway on December 13.
The Rotary Club of Flagler County’s Fantasy Lights display, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, will illuminate Central Park nightly from November 29 through December 30. The display will operate from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each evening and features dozens of lighted exhibits, live music, and themed nights throughout the holiday season.
Admission to the Fantasy Lights display is free, though donations are appreciated to support the Rotary Club’s community service programs. The full schedule of themed nights and special events during the Fantasy Lights display is available at www.flaglerrotary.org.
The annual tree lighting ceremony has become a cherished tradition in Palm Coast, drawing families together to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. The combination of the tree lighting, Santa’s Village, food vendors, and the launch of the Fantasy Lights display creates a festive atmosphere that extends throughout the month of December.
The event provides an opportunity for community members to gather in a central location and participate in shared holiday traditions while supporting local food vendors and charitable organizations. The Rotary Club’s two-decade commitment to producing the Fantasy Lights display demonstrates sustained volunteer engagement in creating holiday experiences for Palm Coast residents and visitors.
