Realty Executives Oceanside event features costume contest, silent auction, and appearance by 13-year-old “Wish Kid” whose Hawaii dream came true
A Halloween-themed bowling fundraiser has sold out all 24 lanes at Palm Coast Lanes for an October 25, 2025 event benefiting Make A Wish of Central & Northern Florida.
Realty Executives Oceanside organized the cosmic bowling night and silent auction with a goal of raising $25,000 to grant five wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Special Guests and Wish Family
Chief Deputy Joe Barile of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office will judge the costume contest, while Palm Coast Vice Mayor Teresa Carli Pontieri will help kick off the event.
The event will include a special appearance by Anna Smith, a 13-year-old “Wish Kid” whose family trip to Hawaii was granted last fall. Anna and her family will attend alongside Jillian Wilson, Development & Community Engagement Coordinator for Make A Wish Northeast.
“Our volunteers dedication and hard work securing sponsors and silent auction items for this year’s event has just been incredible,” said Bruce Vinnick, Broker/Owner of Realty Executives Oceanside. “We have an absolutely amazing collection of Silent Auction items including a ‘Ride along with Deputy Sheriff Barile,’ Round of Golf for 4 at Hammock Beach and vast selection of Baskets.”
Community Support
Vinnick credited local businesses and community members for making the event possible.
“This event would not be possible without the continued support of local businesses and our community,” he said. “We are thrilled to have the continued support of Stellar MLS for the 3rd year as an Event Sponsor.”
Additional sponsors include EXO-PRO, Jennifer Morrison REALTOR®, and Sunshine State Heating & Air.
Event Leadership
The Executive Council Team includes local realtors Iwona Baj, Monique DiFusco, Diana Donaldson, Kathy McEnaney, Jeanne Nix and Janet Zinkhan. Chris Freda, Marketing Manager with Professional Closing, also serves on the council.
Shannon Vinnick, a realtor, chairs the event, with Josephine L’Heureux serving as Event Coordinator.
Open to Public
While bowling lanes are sold out, organizers invite the community to attend, bid on silent auction items, purchase raffle tickets, or make donations.
“We hope the community will join us in ‘Believing in the Power of a Wish!'” organizers stated.
The event takes place Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Palm Coast Lanes. All proceeds benefit Make A Wish of Central & Northern Florida, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Make A Wish has granted hundreds of thousands of wishes nationwide since its founding in 1980, providing children facing serious illnesses with experiences designed to bring hope, strength and joy during difficult times.
