Flagler County Emergency Management shares FEMA, FCC test details for 2:20 p.m. October 4

Flagler County Emergency Management advises residents, businesses, and visitors that FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4. “Cellular phone customers will receive a message that will read: ‘THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. Flagler County Emergency Management earns accreditation by the Emergency Management Accreditation Program EMAP

Flagler County Emergency Management received word on Wednesday (September 27) that it has earned its accreditation through the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) along with a dozen other agencies across the country.
