Local 4807 backs city councilman’s campaign for Florida’s 6th Congressional District seat
Palm Coast City Councilman Charles Gambaro has received an endorsement from the Palm Coast Professional Firefighters Union Local 4807 in his campaign for Florida’s 6th Congressional District.
Local 4807 is a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Florida Professional Firefighters, organizations that advocate for fire service interests at the federal and state levels.
Union President Daniel Hackney announced the endorsement, stating that Gambaro “is a Leader, Veteran, and Patriot who has been fighting for what is right in his community and our nation for decades.” Hackney added that Gambaro “has also stood by our firefighters without hesitation in advocating for long-term benefits that matter to our union members and the Palm Coast Fire Department.”
In response to the endorsement, Gambaro said he was honored by the support. “The men and women of the Palm Coast Fire Department represent the very best of our community and I am proud to stand with them,” he stated. Gambaro said he looks forward to working with Local 4807 on issues important to the fire service.
The endorsement represents support from first responders in Palm Coast as Gambaro seeks to represent the district in Congress.
