The City of Palm Coast reminds residents to join us for the 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, at 8:00 a.m. at Heroes Memorial Park, 2860 Palm Coast Parkway. This annual event is a time for our community to come together in solemn remembrance of the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This year’s ceremony will feature Congressman Randy Fine as the guest speaker, with Vice Mayor Theresa Pontieri serving as the Master of Ceremonies. The Matanzas High School Junior ROTC will present the colors, followed by the National Anthem, performed by Melissa Trumble. The invocation will be delivered by Chaplain Mark Chavez, offering a moment of reflection and prayer.

As part of the tribute, Council Members Ty Miller, David Sullivan, and Charles Gambaro Jr. will read aloud the names of fallen heroes submitted by members of our local community. Lieutenant Patrick Juliano of the Palm Coast Fire Department will perform “Amazing Grace” on the bagpipes during the laying of the wreaths, and the Marine Corps League Detachment #876 will conduct a traditional 21-gun salute. To conclude the ceremony, Bryan Ray from the Palm Coast Community Band will perform “Taps,” honoring the memory of our nation’s fallen.

Following the ceremony, all attendees are invited to participate in the Honor Walk, a quiet and meaningful procession through Heroes Memorial Park. As you walk, we encourage you to pause at each monument and leave a flower in tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Join us in paying your respects, reflecting on the cost of freedom, and standing united in gratitude as a community.
