Local businesses and organizations have until Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to register for two upcoming middle school career fairs in Flagler County.

The Flagler County Education Foundation’s Classroom to Careers Program is presenting career fairs at Indian Trails Middle School on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and at Buddy Taylor Middle School on Friday, January 30, 2026. More than 60 local government, industry, and business partners are expected to participate in the events.

The career fairs come as the 2025-2026 school year reaches its midpoint. Flagler County, recognized as one of Florida’s 10 fastest-growing counties, is bringing together community partners to help educate middle school students about future workforce opportunities. Students and parents are preparing to make decisions about which programs to pursue at the high school level.

Each event will provide information to more than 450 students and parents about programs available through Flagler Palm Coast High School, Matanzas High School, and Flagler Technical College. The fairs will highlight various programs of choice, including Fire Academy, Building Construction, Allied Health, and Law and Justice. Academic acceleration opportunities such as Dual Enrollment and AICE will also be featured, giving students a comprehensive view of their future possibilities.

The Indian Trails Middle School Career Exploration event will take place January 20, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Buddy Taylor Middle School Career Exploration event will run January 30, 2026, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. The Buddy Taylor fair will also include eighth grade students from Imagine School of Town Center.

Businesses and organizations interested in participating can register through the Flagler County Education Foundation.
