The City of Palm Coast will host its 14th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Central Park in Town Center on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. to officially begin the holiday season.

The community tradition will feature a visit from Santa Claus, appearances by the Palm Coast City Council, and the Rotary Club of Flagler County’s launch of the 20th Anniversary Fantasy Lights display. The display will showcase lights and holiday scenes throughout the park.

Families can enjoy an evening with food trucks, photos with Santa, kids’ crafts, and Santa’s Village, which will include hot cocoa and marshmallow toasting.

The celebration continues throughout the season with additional holiday events. These include the Feet to Feast 5K at Daytona State College’s Palm Coast Campus on Nov. 27, the Starlight Parade in Town Center on Dec. 6, and the Holiday Boat Parade along the Intracoastal Waterway on Dec. 13.

The Rotary Club of Flagler County’s Fantasy Lights display will illuminate Central Park nightly from Nov. 29 through Dec. 30, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The display features dozens of lighted exhibits, live music, and themed nights. Admission is free, and donations are appreciated to support the Rotary’s community service programs. The full schedule is available at www.flaglerrotary.org.
