The City of Palm Coast is asking residents to help shape updates to its Land Development Code through a series of public workshops starting this month.
Land Development Code Timeline
The first workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Palm Coast City Hall. Additional workshops will be held during Planning and Land Development Regulation Board meetings and City Council meetings throughout the review process.
The city plans to update the code to match its recently approved Imagine 2050 Comprehensive Plan. Changes will also clarify existing rules, update technical language, and put the plan’s goals and policies into action.
“These workshops are designed not only to present the proposed changes but also to give residents, businesses, and community partners a chance to share their feedback and suggestions,” said Planner Manager Phong Nguyen.
The workshops will focus on different chapters of the Land Development Code. Some chapters may require more than one meeting, while others could be completed in a single session. The city may adjust the schedule if chapters are finished early.
Residents can comment on the planned updates and suggest other changes they believe are needed. All meetings are open to the public.
The city will announce future workshop dates on its website and through other communication channels. Residents can learn more about the project and provide input at palmcoast.mysocialpinpoint.com.
