Rymfire Elementary School community honors Master Deputy Michael Spinelli on his final day of service

Master Deputy Michael Spinelli concluded more than 25 years of service as a Florida law enforcement officer this week, marking the end of an era at Rymfire Elementary School, where he served as School Resource Deputy for the past four years.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputy was honored at the end of his final day on campus, as students, faculty, staff, and families gathered to express their gratitude for his dedication to the school community.

Deputy Spinelli’s quarter-century career in law enforcement has been characterized by his commitment to protecting and serving the students and families of Flagler County. His presence at Rymfire Elementary provided not only security but also a reassuring figure for the school’s youngest learners.

As he embarks on his retirement, the Flagler County community extends its appreciation for Deputy Spinelli’s years of service and wishes him well in this new chapter of his life.
