Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 19 arrests this past weekend between 6 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, and 6 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025. Deputies handled 676 calls for service and made 103 traffic stops.
Driver Arrested for DUI After Crash
On Saturday afternoon, deputies responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Palm Coast Parkway and Clubhouse Drive in Palm Coast. During their investigation, deputies determined that Jeremiah Lott, 45, of Palm Coast, was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Lott, who was driving one of three vehicles involved in the crash, not only smelled of alcohol but also failed a field sobriety test. As a result, deputies arrested Lott for driving under the influence and transported him to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where a breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit. This was Lott’s third DUI arrest since 2006. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.

Driver Arrested for DUI after Rearending a Motorcyclist
On Saturday, deputies responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Belle Terre Parkway and Palm Coast Parkway. Upon arrival, they located Susie Smith, 39, of Palm Coast, sitting in the passenger seat of her vehicle, which had just rear-ended a motorcycle.
While attempting to complete a field sobriety test, Smith displayed signs of impairment, including slurred speech, an unsteady gate, and a strong odor of alcohol coming from her breath.
After failing the field sobriety test, Smith was arrested for driving under the influence and driving under the influence with property damage. During the administration of a breathalyzer test, Smith was unable to provide an adequate sample to register a reading. She was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she was later released on a $2,000 bond.

“There is never an excuse for drinking and driving,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “These two drunks put a motorcyclist and other drivers at risk. If you drive while under the influence, you will be arrested and our deputies will show you some new bars at the prohibition dry Green Roof Inn.”
Palm Coast Woman Arrested for Grant Theft Auto
On Sunday night, deputies arrested Kendra Dorf, 39, of Palm Coast, after conducting a felony traffic stop on a stolen vehicle. The victim had reported the vehicle stolen from Palm Coast days earlier.
According to the victim, Dorf had borrowed her vehicle with an agreement to make monthly payments on the auto loan. Since early April, the victim made multiple requests for Dorf to return the vehicle and only contacted 9-1-1 after learning from her bank that Dorf hadn’t made a payment since January.
During their investigation, deputies confirmed the stolen vehicle had been traveling Northbound along Savannah Highway in North Carolina on May 8, and on Sunday, deputies stopped Dorf as she reentered Flagler County.
“When someone refuses to return a borrowed vehicle and leaves the state, it becomes a crime,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Bottom line, if you steal in Flagler County, our deputies will arrest you and take you to the Green Roof Inn.”
Deputies arrested Dorf for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. She was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she is being held on a $1,000 bond.
