August 1st, 2023 the Palm Coast City Council held their 6pm business meeting at City Hall.  The meeting opened with public comment, where anyone wishing to speak was allowed to come up and speak for 3 minutes. Public comment opened up the City Council meeting on the 6th of December. A commenter is concerned about heavy traffic on Cimarron Dr and no sidewalks no place for bicycles, kids, dog walkers, and she feels this is dangerous. She wishes to see speed bumps, monitors and sidewalks put in. Another commenter brought up unfair signage; if some signs are not allowed, then none should be allowed. Palm Coast City Council Approves Millage Rate and Final Budget

Tonight’s meeting went without much of a hitch, and the council was able to review again a brief overview of the 2022-2023 budget and millage rate. Ms. Alves and her associate presented a brief overview of the final budget with one minor adjustment due to rounding issues. The final proposed budget is to be $328,187,636 dollars, a three dollar increase from the last budget meeting at $328,187,633 dollars. The council voted on the State Road 100 Community Redevelopment Agency Budget, and it passed 4-1 with Councilman Danko being the only no vote. The council then proposed the final millage rate…
