Flagler Schools officially start back to school on Thursday August 10th. On August 7th, Monday, the FCSO will be increasing their patrols around the local school zones and residential school bus stops in an effort to increase traffic safety, education and awareness before the students head back to class. FCSO Command Staff members will be joining School Resource Deputies at every school in Flagler County on morning to welcome students and teachers to the new school year. Daytona North detour begins Monday for a short section of Water Oak

News Release from  Flagler County states that there will be a detour starting on Monday September 26th in the section of Water Oak between Walnut Ave and Mahogany.
