A brand new organization, Clean Earth Initiative, invites non-profits in Flagler, Volusia, and Brevard counties to a Conservation Breakfast in Tomoka State Park, Ormond Beach, on Thursday, January 16th.  The legislative breakfast aims to allow nonprofit organizations to hear about other organizations in the area and speak about their organization in front of local officials. This legislative breakfast is open to all nonprofits in the area, with many organizations and elected officials having received invitations.

Jonathon Rubin, Founder of the Clean Earth Initiative said, “One of Clean Earth Initiative’s main goals is to serve as an umbrella for Florida conservation nonprofits. As a unified voice, nonprofits can raise more funds, educate more guests, and be more efficient in their work. CEI is setting up events like these around the state.  CEI partners with many counties and elected officials in Tallahassee and DC to share updates on Florida conservation efforts.”

The Clean Earth Initiative is actively asking any nonprofit organizations in Flagler County to reach out to them and RSVP to the event, which can be done on their website, cleanearthinitiative.org/events.

The Clean Earth Initiative was started earlier in 2024, working to form an umbrella for nonprofits in Florida. Their goal is to help amplify and unify the voice of nonprofit organizations throughout the state, allowing them to organize better, fundraise more effectively, and make a bigger impression in Tallahassee with the State Legislature. CEI is currently working to create a state-wide “umbrella” for nonprofits while still working to connect these organizations on a regional level.
