The foundation honored Carrie Todd from Palm Coast Parks and Recreation for her outstanding dedication and support to the special needs community during the ASD group activities. In recognition of her efforts, Carrie was presented with a plaque and flowers during the ‘Karaoke Night with ASD Social Group’ on Tuesday, July 23.
“I want to thank everyone for joining us tonight as we celebrate the remarkable contributions of this extraordinary individual. We are gathered here to honor Carrie Todd for her dedication to the special needs community and her exceptional work with the ASD group. As we all know, supporting individuals with exceptional needs is a journey filled with unique challenges and profound rewards. It takes a person of immense compassion, resilience, and vision to truly make a difference. Carrie Todd exemplifies all these qualities and more. Her commitment to empowering those with disabilities and enhancing their lives has been nothing short of inspirational.
She has not only raised awareness but also fostered a sense of community, that’s why we’re all here today, inclusion and empowerment. As one of the co-founders of Cedar Bridge along with Terry, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals’ special needs, and as parents of adults with disabilities, we can personally attest to the challenges and triumphs that come with this important work that we do.
