This last Thursday, June 27th, 2024, Flagler Tiger Bay Club held a meet and greet for local, state and federal political candidates; allowing residents to interact, ask questions and converse with those running for office. Flagler County’s Supervisor of Elections was also in attendance, providing voting information, voter registration, and conducting a straw poll. The event lasted from 5:30 to 8:30, with the straw poll being conducted between 6-8pm. The images below highlight the results of the straw poll, which Kaiti Lenhart stressed was not an official poll, but one for candidates to gauge their level of support. She stressed in her opening remarks the importance of not counting the straw poll results as anything serious, as this poll would not be indicative of the official results in August or November.
